12 Months Warranty

All heavy equipment and machinery purchased from American Skid Steer come with a 12-Month Parts & Labor Warranty from the delivery date.

Replacement Process

  • If you are entitled to a replacement,ย American Skid Steerย will provide an identical product or one of similar value/quality.
    If neither is available, we may provide aย refundย orย repairย the product within a reasonable time.
    Refund and repair rights apply to the replacement product in the same way as the original product.

Defects in Materials and Workmanship

  • Covered Defects

    • Manufacturing flaws that compromise structural integrity
    • Broken or damaged components present at time of delivery
    • Incomplete or missing parts as originally supplied
    • Hydraulic System Failure (pumps, valves, cylinders) due to manufacturing defects.
    • Engine Failure not caused by neglect or improper fuel.
    • Structural Integrity: Cracked welds or frame failure under normal operating loads.
    • Electrical Components: Starters, alternators, and control modules.

    Not Covered

    • Normal wear and tear from use
    • Improper storage, handling, or failure to perform routine maintenance (e.g., greasing pivots, changing oil/filters).
    • Damage caused by operating equipment beyond its rated capacity (overloading).
    • Accidents, drops, or impacts after delivery
    • Modifications or alterations made by the customer
    • Minor cosmetic imperfections not affecting functionality
    • Expected age-related patina/finish changes

How to Make a Warranty Claim

    1. Contact usย with your order number, product name, and a brief description of the defect.
    2. Provideย clear photos/videosย of the issue and the serial/model number (if applicable).
    3. Weโ€™ll review and send aย Return Authorization (RA)ย and instructions if a return is required.
    4. After inspection, weโ€™ll proceed withย replacement,ย repair, orย refundย per this policy.

Warranty Terms

  1. This warranty coversย defects in materials and workmanshipย that affect the functionality or integrity of tools and equipment.
    Coverage begins on the date of delivery as confirmed by our shipping partners.ย Proof of purchase is requiredย for all warranty claims.
    Normal wear and tear, improper handling or storage, misuse, or modifications areย not covered.

    Note: If your order includes pre-owned items, the same 12-month coverage applies unless otherwise specified on the product page.

  • All purchases fromย American Skid Steerย include our standard 12-month warranty covering defects as described above.

Product-Specific Warranties

      • Manufacturer Warranties:ย Some items may include the original manufacturerโ€™s warranty in addition to American Skid Steer coverage. Details appear on the product page when applicable.
      • Extended Protection Plans:ย Optional extended plans may be available for certain high-value items at checkout.

Replacement & Repair Timeline

      • Parts & Repair Support (Primary Resolution) For heavy machinery, our priority is to get you back to work quickly. We will troubleshoot with you and ship free replacement parts immediately. We provide technical guidance so you or a local mechanic can install them.
      • Replacement If the equipment cannot be repaired with parts, we will arrange a replacement unit. Due to freight logistics, please allow 7โ€“21 business days for the replacement to arrive.
      • Refund If a replacement is not available, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method
